2012 was a tough, tough year for a lot of folks. For me, it was the year I found my feet again. After too long of being mired in uncertainty, of flailing about trying to find my way, this past year my path became clear. And I’m still not convinced that I’m not in the midst of a spectacular mid-life crisis. But that makes me even more hopeful. Greatness is often born in crisis, so if that’s what this is, I’ll take it.
As I look forward to 2013, I think about where I want my life to go, the journey I wish to continue. And I’m once again feeling brave enough to say aloud, I want to be the best person I can be. I want to be strong in body and in mind. I’m not sure exactly what that looks like, but I will start each day with this request to the universe.
“Help me be strong. Help me be good.”
Very nice and good on you! Let’s enjoy the unfolding of the new year.

Thanks, Barrett. Life happens one day at a time. The hard part is remembering to appreciate all the little moments that go into making it great. 🙂

Something for all of us to aspire to. And thanks for the video. It made me smile. Big Time Smiles.

Mary, Isn’t that video awesome. I loved that they took time at the end to acknowledge the audience. They gave a polite bow rather than just disappearing like a lot of flash mobs. It was fabulous.

Thanks, Sally. The presence of hope is pretty powerful. The lack of it, completely devastating. Let’s hope everyone finds a little of their own this year, yes?
