The Cool Thing About Being an Editor

Being an editor is pretty much the best job ever. I like it almost as much as being a writer. It feeds that restless, part of me that must tell stories. No, they’re not my stories, but it’s my job to polish them up and make them shiny. It is an honor to be trusted with an author’s creative process. And, it’s especially satisfying when I see those books I’ve worked on getting positive reviews.
