Angie Dressen’s goal in life is simple. She wants her son, Oliver, to have the childhood she never had. She remembers coming in second to the never-ending stream of girlfriends her father brought home, and she wants Oliver to know he comes first. Besides, between working full time as a waitress, struggling to finish her degree one class at a time, and raising her son, Angie doesn’t have time for love. Or so she thinks.
Luna Rinaldi is the wild-haired, leather-wearing embodiment of all Angie’s relationship fears. She’s a well-respected tattoo artist with a long list of past lovers and a reputation for leaving in the middle of the night. She’s also kind, thoughtful, and adventurous, with a serious soft spot for Angie and Oliver.
The two enter into a tenuous relationship, one that leaves Luna wanting more and Angie resisting the promise in Luna’s eyes. When they are together, though, Angie wants to believe in love, trust, and the possibility of forever.

Just finished it. Amazon shipped it early and I was so happy about that. Love the way Jove puts the flavor of Portland into this novel. I lived there for a while and it made me remember those days. Thank you for the way Luna looks at her art. I have a large tat on my back and it was a very spiritual occurance. It was nice to see that reflected here. It isn’t always just about covering skin and being macho. As a single parent for many years I could really see Angie’s attitude and I really liked the zaniness of her father. My only complaint about the book is that it ended to soon. So when can we expect the next book?

Awesome that Amazon is shipping early. Love to hear that. This is the second year that I’ve had a book released in December. Makes a pretty nice present for me!
Glad to here you enjoyed Indelible. It was a fun book to write, but I don’t know that I could have made it longer without it feeling like it was dragging on and on (which I would have been totally fine with, but my editor tends to balk at that).
Next? Not sure yet. I’ve a couple project in the works and will post updates here when I have them.
